Author participation opportunities
The Content Development Committee is seeking Academy Fellows and Associate Fellows to self-nominate serve as authors.
Each document is expected to have openings for 1-2 volunteers.
This is an excellent opportunity to collaborate with subject matter experts, contribute to evidence-based laboratory medicine guidance, and help shape best practices for the profession. Authors will participate in developing recommendations and creating resources that support laboratorians worldwide.

- ADLM guidance on Multiple Sclerosis Laboratory Testing and Reporting - Deadline September 9th
- ADLM guidance on Laboratory Testing for Diagnosing and Managing Patients with Hemoglobinopathies - Deadline October 30th
Call for Authors Process
- Fill out Call for Authors form (open for ~3 months)
- Applications are reviewed by chair(s) of the guidance document
- 1-2 members will be selected to join the writing group to ensure a balanced writing group
- Notification to all volunteers who have self-nominated.
